Q: what is the boost function?
A: it is desinged for low voltage output wind generator, which can automatically work after setting the boost starting voltage, such as if your wind turbine rated voltage is 24V, while boost start voltage setted 20V, the controller will start to charge the battery while it detected the wind output voltage meets 20V. It will take full use of the wind power.
Q: what is the buck function?
A: it is desinged for high output voltage eind generator.
The controller will start buck function automatically once the real -time rectified DC Current is higher than rectified DC Current at Rated Power (.Cause the wind turbine will be burnt once the real-time rectified DC Current is too high, )
The buck function will convert the high voltage (U1) and low current (I1) from generator (DC, after rectifying) in the low voltage (U2) and high current (I2) to battery .
Q: how do I know which function is necessary for my system?
A: normally we need know the basic information of the wind turbine, rated output voltage and maximum output voltage. If you don't know exactly, just ask your turbine supplier; or kinldy provide us the power curve and voltage curve of wind turbine for checking by ourselves.
Q: What is the RS232 communication function?
A: it is for setting and checking the parameters of wind turbine, battery, controller from computer. Software free.
Q: What is the USB data logging function?
A: It is designed for collecting parameters of wind turbine, battery, charge controller from controller into USB flash disk. You can check it on any others computer.
Q: can I by 1 pc sample? what is the price?
A: of course, you can buy 1 pc, we always welcome clients to buy 1 pc as sample to make the test firstly. Then they will make sure this is good choice or not for their system.
The price for 1 pc sample will be same as for bulk order, no any extra charge.
Q: can I get a free sample for testing?
A: sorry, we don't supply free sample, since we provide each controller based on clients system detailed parameters, to make sure this controller will work very well, so it is customized for you especially, we have to ask for the cost.
